Bingeworthy: The Disastrous Life of Saiki K.

Another light watch for me to be honest. That said it’s definitely one of the better light hearted shows out there. I say light in terms of depth of content. In comparison to let’s say a Game Of Thrones or a Naruto where you can get completely lost in their individual universes, characters, and side plots. Saiki offers comedic relief to everyday life through some very clever satire.I thought it was lame when I watched it the first time and couldn’t get into it. It eventually caught me when I took my time to take it all in. The shows all jokes and more importantly I felt like I was learning while I was watching it. It’s a comedy but they do a great job of touching on the entire palette of human emotions. Bringing you in and out of weird empathic places you weren’t quite sure existed. At the end of the day I felt like a more evolved person after watching it.

It follows the life of a Psychic teenage boy named Saiki. What makes it different than your normal super hero show is that he has absolutely no interest in taking advantage of his powers or being a super hero for that matter. Saiki has every power imaginable. The most important to this shows fabric is his ability to read minds which makes him completely avoidS people like aids. I’m not going to spoil to much more but it’s definitely worth a watch if you’re bored.

I give it a solid 8.5/10.

Let me know if there’s any anime I should check out. I’m always looking for dope content.
